New Food Coatings (Philippines) Incorporated, doing business under the name and style of Newly Weds Foods (Philippines) is a joint venture company, manufacturing food coatings and seasonings for the industrial food sector throughout the Philippines and South East Asia. With affiliated production facilities in Australia, New Zealand Thailand and China, the group is collectively known as Newly Weds Foods Asia Pacific. The company was incorporated in the Philippines in 2002, investing in a manufacturing facility located in Laguna, to the south of Manila. The factory has a state of the art blending capability and the company also distributes the complete range of Newly Weds Foods’ Japanese Style Breadcrumb and Special Bake Breadcrumb. NWFP’s parent companies, Newly Weds Foods of the U.S. and George Weston Foods of Australia are experienced manufacturers of a diverse range of foods. Newly Weds Foods is a world leader in the manufacture of food coatings and seasonings, with 12 manufacturing plants in the U.S. and Canada, 2 factories in the U.K. and a number of joint ventures and licensing arrangements throughout the world. George Weston Foods produces a wide variety of food products including bread, flour, dairy products and biscuits in 64 manufacturing facilities throughout Australia and New Zealand. The company is owned by Associated British Foods of the U.K., one of the largest food companies in the world.
