Planning and QA Manager  

The planning and QA Manager will be mainly responsible in the implementation of the project plan and any associated and relevant directives needed to support business and project plans.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement written procedures for planning and quality assurance.
• Perform needed tests on site to ensure conformity of material and works according to the contract specifications
• Works with the Project Managers monitoring construction works contracts including quantity measurement, quality, variation and payments.
• Ensures overall project compliance
• Establish and maintain procedures to develop planning methods and standard documentation for construction works and quality control and assurance for the projects;
• Develop a procedure to establish norms to define the project-alternatives that will be evaluated for each project task.
• Develop and conduct robust procedures for quality assurance;
• Review of the Bill of Quantities and the contract documents.
• Define a procedure for using the cost norms to establish the cost of projects.
• Supervision of the contractors in the implementation of the work;
• Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Chief Technical Advisor/Project Manager.

The Planning and QA Manager will be directly reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

• College Degree (preferably in the field of Engineering or Architecture); Licensed Engineer or Architecture an advantage
• Atleast with 10 years of relevant experience in an interior fit-out industry.
• Atleast 5 years in Managerial Capacity
• Strong executive presence
• A sound knowledge on interior fit-out project implementation
• Knowledgeable with technical design and implementation for Civil, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, and Electronics
• Able to delegate tasks to team members and communicate with them; plus, able to train employees
• Willingness to travel (local and international)
