Accounts Payable Analyst  

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform day to day management of accounts payable transactions of the company
  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation, recording and payment
  • Ensure proper approval prior to payment
  • Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
  • Ensure that claims if any are prepared and submitted to vendors timely
  • Prepare telegraphic transfer payment to overseas suppliers for importations
  • Respond to vendor inquiries; coordinate with suppliers regarding payables
  • Reconcile vendor statements and correct discrepancies
  • Prepare necessary WHT certificates to vendors and monitor issuance thereof
• Generate the necessary data/documents to initiate payment process for the ff:
  • Monthly BIR taxes via EFPS (Metrobank or BPI)
    • Withholding Tax : 1601 C / 1601 E (Due 10th of the month)
    • Value Added Tax : 2550 M / 2550 Q (Due 20th of the month)
• Handle and process check requests
  • Validate check requests before processing
  • Review, analyze and validate employees’ travel expense reports and ensure resources are used efficiently, according to company policies.
  • Ensure proper approval prior to payment or reimbursement
  • Monitor employee cash advances and make certain valid and timely liquidation thereof
  • Handle petty cash fund and prepare replenishments
• Encode and monitor trade marketing expenses
• Continuously improve payment processes
• Assist supervisor in preparing deposit slips
• Protect company’s value thru keeping information confidential

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
• Data entry skills along with a knack for number
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Have problem solving skills, documentation skills, data analysis, negotiation skills
• Have strong work ethics, professional attitude
• Honest, trustworthy and reliable
• Ability to work independently
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Willing to work on-site at Greenhills, San Juan

Advantageous but not required:

• Certified Public Accountant
• Knowledge in MS NAV
