Procurement Manager  

Direction-Setting, Goal Alignment & Strategic Management

• Strategically implement direction, by defining specific objectives aligned with overall SCM Department & PM Business Unit imperatives.

Operation Execution

• Review & Approve Bid Tabulations for Projects, Capex, SLTMS.
• Supplier Management & Development – Execution of SRM.

Purchasing Function

• Review and analyses seasonality and usage of materials in coordination with PPIC. Strategically negotiates prices and quality of materials and services at the right time and leveraging on volumes.
• Implement strategic sourcing to effectively and efficiently satisfy company/customer requirements vs. available materials and services.
• Ensure vendor contracts are in effect all the time including the availability of alternative suppliers for all materials to manage supply, quality, and price risks.
• Actively participate in the monthly Supply and Demand Meeting to strategically bridge materials and services gaps.

Industrial Performance Management and Continuous Improvement

• Sets standards cost as a basis for product costing and P&L report.
• Ensures regular performance reviews where gaps and variances are analyzed, corrective and preventive actions are defined and executed within standards or targets.
• Promotes Continuous Improvement (CI) to support materials innovation and product cost reduction.

NOC & Cost Management

• Work closely with PPIC in firming up Supply and Demand strategies.
• Collaborates with Sales and PPIC to reduce ageing inventory and obsolescence.
• Ensures integrity, timeliness, and accuracy in the documentation and posting of materials price validity in coordination with PPIC and Finance.
• Conducts month P&L reviews, and acts on variances swiftly.

Business Growth and Development

• Collaborates with Sales and Business Services in pursuing new business projects and new, materials to improve margins.
• Leads and continuously engages self in challenging procedures and systems to come out with best-in-industry practices to ensure supply sustainability and price competitiveness of materials and services.
• Plans and partners with functional heads in establishing short, medium and long term requirements to maximize economies of scale and prepare for supply assurance.

• Must be a college graduate; preferably from business administration course/engineering course/food technology course.
• Significant experience in Procurement in a leadership role is a must.
• With proven higher management skills- demonstrated strategic management, higher financial management.
• Knowledgeable in SAP and ERP System.
