Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Assesses training/coaching needs on a project by project basis;
- Develops training materials and facilitates training sessions;
- Works with the designated team for system updates and readiness to accommodate project needs;
- Remains current on medical coding and billing guidelines and auditing protocols;
- Abides by the Standards of Ethical Coding as set forth by the American Health Information Management Association and adheres to official coding guidelines;
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned;
- Participates in testing and training as required by the Company;
- Travel is required for training, based on project to project need
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Degree in Nursing with active nursing license preferred
- Certification as either a CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-H, CCC or CRN-C required
- At least three years’ experience as a risk adjustment coder required;
- Proven experience in project management;
- Demonstrated effective leadership in managerial roles
- Extensive knowledge of medical billing and payment methodologies, including coding guidelines for ICD-9 (demonstrated understanding of CMS HCC Risk Adjustment coding and data validation requirements preferred);
- Strong organizational ability to manage projects with tight timelines;
- Proficient phone system and computer skills, including MS Windows, email and internet; ability to learn additional applications as necessary;
- Ability to assess and implement training and in-service needs and to provide consultation and arrange/facilitate training sessions;
- Ability to communicate effectively with professionals, especially physicians, and all levels of management
