Software Engineer  

Medix is looking for software engineers to help us build our healthcare platforms as we scale to thousands of clinics. As a software engineer, you’ll be writing code to make Medix even more awesome. On the way, you’ll be joining us in making architectural and software design choices. You’ll have the chance to meet our customers, from small clinics to the large titans of the business world.

Medix's platform is build on a diverse and modern stack, starring technologies such as jQuery, CodeIgniter, JavaScript, PHP, MYSQL and HTML 5. And yes, we run our platforms on Amazon Web Services.

You’ll spend most of your time coding, so you’ll need to be able to write (or quickly learn to write) elegant, efficient, and maintainable code. Depending on your skills and your inclinations, you may work on either the frontend or the backend of our web application, or possibly the infrastructure (DevOps) code supporting it, or any subset of those. You’ll be expected to be familiar with at least one of those, or be very quick to learn.

While we’d love it if you’ve had experience with our tech stack, we’re happy to take in anyone with a desire to improve and is quick-to-learn. While we value experience, we believe that passion and potential are far more important.
