Deskripsi Pekerjaan
We are looking for a dynamic Community Engagement Officer to spearhead engagement programs for the local community, facilitate reforestation experiences for guests and lead collaborations with strategic conservation partners on the ground. This is in support of Masungi Georeserve's reforestation activities. This involves the following leading the following:
- Facilitating reforestation learning experiences for guests and volunteers
- Environmental education programs for members, key institutions & strategic conservation partners within the local community
- Health & Water Sanitation Programs
- Livelihood programs including enterprise development for small community organisations
- Community Entry and Interventions
- Other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager
The role is located in Baras, Rizal, about one and a half hours from Quezon City via Marcos Highway.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Preferably at least 1 year experience in similar work;
- Strong organising, people relations and communication skills;
- A passion for environmental conservation and community development;
- Adaptable, resourceful and flexible in job tasks;
- Thrives in outdoor, mountain and rural environment;
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills;
- Dynamic, strategic, proactive and fair in handling social issues and challenges related to conservation

Tentang Masungi Georeserve
The Masungi Georeserve is an environment protection project, with a goal to promote sustainability, conservation, and education. Our BHAG is to form part of a UNESCO Geopark. Currently, the area has an effective conservation plan supported by a geotourism plan.
