Full Stack Web Developer  

PHP Developers are responsible for translating business requirements into workable programming code. This role is responsible to maintain and develop web applications for business use. Web Developers specializes in a specific development field.

Responsibilities:

• Execute code development within the project timeline & budget. These activities include:
  • Translating detailed product requirements to a technical component design, and define a unit test script & test data to verify that the product requirement is met.
  • Convert the technical component design into a working backend code and/or front-end code. Integrate back-end & front-end code into a working unit-tested component.
  • Perform component-to- component integration testing.
  • Any other work-related duties that may be assigned.
• If assigned as a Dev Team Lead to a project, responsibility include:
  • Participate in reviewing the user requirements.
  • Translate the user requirements into a high-level application design; and coordinate these specifications with the relevant project stakeholders (e.g. Business Analysts when defining the product features).
• This task may be headed by a Solution Architect for moderate to complex projects, as assigned.
  • Define the data model, framework, development standards, reusable components that shall be used by the project team; and coordinate the review of the design with subject matter experts.
  • Review the quality of the team deliverables (such as unit test review, code review, and the like) and ensure team tasks are completed on time and on budget.
  • Manage the deployment of the application to different project staging environments.
  • Provide an accurate team status report to the project manager. Manage issues & risks identified for the team.
• Develop and maintain large, complex and feature-rich websites and applications.
• Assist in the definition of application architecture and server-side requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to fellow colleagues.
• Research new technologies and approaches to better improve application code.
• Perform code review and peer reviews.

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline, or at least 1-2 years related work experience
• Minimum 1 year experience writing JavaScript for Node.js
• Solid understanding of vanilla JavaScript, and modern front-end web technologies (e.g. Babel, Webpack, ES7)
• Strong experience with a front-end framework, such as React or Angular
• Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL (such as Redis) in JavaScript
• Experience in CSS3 styling and layout
• Experience working with any of the following libraries
  • PostgreSQL
  • Bootstrap 3/4
  • Apollo-React / Redux
  • Express/PassportJS
  • GraphQLjs
  • Experience working with
    • SASS or LESS
    • CSS3 animations and Flex box
    • WebRTC and related technologies
    • server-side rendering
    • writing GraphQL
  • Strong understanding of Git and dependency management tools
• Knowledgeable in PHP, MySQL, HTML,CSS and Jquery
• Experienced on using MVC Frameworks (CodeIgniter, Zend Framework, Laravel, etc.). Deep understanding on client business requirements.Familiar on Object Oriented Programming. Familiarity in server setup (Linux/Windows) is a plus.
