QA Automation Engineer  

kumu is looking for a QA Automation Engineer who has strong experience in building the automation testing scripts/process of a mobile application and web. The main focus of the role is more on backend automation, non-functional testing such as performance and load testing in a sprint pod/team. Direct coordination with the backend developers and manual QAs will happen.

We are looking for someone who has a growth mindset, can share his/her previous experiences, and best practices in automation to the team.

As a QA Automation Engineer, you'll be expected to:

• Create automated test scripts/test cases to run in any Automation tool such as Selenium, Cucumber, TestProject, Cypress, and the likes
• Build end-to-end automation scripts for web and mobile applications for functional and backend testing to discover bugs, issues, and problems users are facing
• Ensure the product and its features are functioning properly
• Help in automating reports, load testing, performance testing and stress testing
• Help train aspiring Automation engineers with basic Automation knowledge
• Research and identify the best tools needed for a successful automation testing
• Document results of test script deployment
• Document issues, bugs, and other technical problems
• Perform ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time
• Report to QA Manager / Sr./Lead Automation Engineer

• 2-7 years experience as QA Automation Engineer
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Able to work in a team
• Proactive and diligent
• Can work with minimal supervision
• Able to utilize Performance testing tools such as LoadRunner and Locust
• Able to code using any programming language such as Python, .Net, Java, Javascript, etc.
• Preferably but not required to have CI/CD implementation experience
