Back End Developer - KG Media  

We are looking for a Sr. (Node.js) Backend Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the frontend. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the backend, and ensuring high performance, and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Job Requirements:

• Strong proficiency with JavaScript
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available such as ExpressJS
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming, its quirks, and workarounds
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Huawei Cloud services for backend development such as Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, Athena, Aurora DB, Firehose, etc.
• Good knowledge of Azure services such as Azure functions, Azure App Services, CosmosDB, SQL server, etc.
• Good knowledge of Huawei Cloud services such as FunctionGraph, OBS, ECS, DMS, etc.
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Strong knowledge of building complex SQL queries
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient with code versioning tools (Git/BitBucket)
• Proficient with Continuous Integration and Deployment using Jenkins or similar
• Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors (Stylus, Less, etc.) and front-end technologies (React JS, HTML5, and CSS3) will be a PLUS
