Purchasing Officer  

Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes.

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices, terms, and quality of goods and services.

Review and analyze purchase requisitions, specifications, and other procurement documents to determine the appropriate sourcing method.

Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and agreements, and ensure timely processing and delivery of orders.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels using procurement software or databases.

Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards.

Collaborate with internal departments, such as finance, operations, and other end-users, to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with organizational objectives.

Stay informed about market trends, new products, and industry developments to make informed purchasing decisions.

Resolve issues or disputes with suppliers regarding delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to procurement and purchasing activities.
