Role Description
This opportunity is a result of ongoing changes within Financial Control and Accounting. With a strong focus on auditing, compliance and taxation, this key role will partner closely with the Associate Finance Manager and Control & Accounting Manager to support our business across Kantar Philippines and strict compliance to statutory and regulatory requirements. The Finance Executive will perform and coordinate accounting duties within Kantar. The Finance Executive's responsibilities include preparing journal entries, monitoring client billing and credit notes, preparing accounts receivable and accrued revenue aging, calculating bad debts and accrued income provisions, verifying staff expense claims, recording of non-job accruals, handling business requirements, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing timely, accurate, relevant & value-adding accounting & financial information to all relevant stakeholders
- Ensure financial processes and controls are in place throughout relevant business units and make sure that correct business practices are always followed
- Run monthly accounts receivable and accrued revenue aging, and ensure manual client entries including unallocated cash receipts are recorded and reconciled
- Calculate and prepare journal entry to record accounts receivable and accrued income provisions based on Kantar’s minimum control standards
- Perform completeness check of BIR 2307 from clients, prepare journal entry to reclass corporate tax credits, and ensure discount allowed account is nil at month-end
- Run monthly accounts payable and open purchase orders aging, and ensure manual vendor entries including unallocated disbursements are recorded and reconciled
- Review staff expense claims, confirm validity and appropriateness of reimbursements, and ensure expenses are approved in line with Kantar’s delegation of authority
- Prepare journal entries to record staff expense claims and birthday checks, and ensure payment journals are recorded and reconciled
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, collate, and file PDF and excel versions of bank statements, and prepare book reconciliation journal entries
- Perform monthly currency revaluation for foreign currency vendor, client, and bank accounts, and prepare journal entry to distribute intercompany foreign exchange gain and losses
- Perform monthly loan reconciliation, collate, and file intercompany loan schedule, and prepare interest, drawdown, and collection journal entries
- Assist with preparation of non-job accruals journal entries to ensure appropriateness and validity of all liabilities incurred
- Provide accounting support to the Controller, Finance Business Partners, and other non-finance departments particularly those transactions with complex accounting concepts
- Communicate continuously with various stakeholders in business and respond on a timely manner to management queries in relation to actual results, audits, and other ad hoc reports

Kualifikasi Minimum
· Graduate of BS Accountancy
· At least 2-3 years of working experience with the same capacity
· At least 6 months of working experience in audit with 1 busy season
· Able to work in a diverse and matrix organization
· Able to maintain high confidentiality, tactful and discretion when dealing with people
· Possess good communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
· Able to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgements
· Excellent computer skills and proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Able to work onsite when required
