Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst  

The AP Analyst works with a team under the General Accounting Unit reporting to the HQ based in Geneva, Switzerland, that primarily:

• Facilitate the payment of invoices and handle the validation of an average of 3,500 invoices monthly for the whole organization.
• Perform various controls and accounting related procedures, such as month end entries, corrections, and data upload.
• Help in the planning, execution, and promotion of fraud-prevention activities in AP.

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• At least 4 years of work experience as a General Accountant, preferably in Accounts Payable and/or as an Internal/External Auditor.
• Knowledge in Web-based Software Accounting applications (experience with JD Edwards or PeopleSoft is an advantage).
• Experienced in processing invoices through an automated invoice payment system
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of French is an asset.
• Proficiency in French is an asset (C1 and C2 levels of proficiency are given a language premium).
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent computer literacy (Excel, Word).
• Great attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Vigilant and has the ability to recognize risk of fraud.
