Multimedia Specialist | Sales and Marketing | Cebu  

● Produces advertising content according to client briefs such as but not limited to:

i. Generates graphics and visuals for the website’s general content to enhance storytelling and reader engagement.

ii. Helps create and implement the layout of a page or pages.

iii. Develops new visual or graphic forms for maps, charts, tables, and the like for the site and for social media.

iv. Update the site’s frame channel and help edit and/or crop photos sent by reporters, photographers, videographers and/or contributors to produce compelling images for the site and social media.

v. Remotely assist other news desks with their graphic requirements as needed.

● Assists Marketing in creating content for its audience/advertiser/readership promotions.

● Ensures that the advertising content developed meets qualitative and quantitative measures or objectives agreed on in the advertising contract

● Ensures that project delivery is timely with the goal of client and partner satisfaction.

● Develops creative content concepts for production and implementation as required by advertisers or as required by management

● Assists sales team during client event coverages and gathers content (agreed on in the contract), such as:

i. Photos of significant moments during the event

ii. Interview key personnel

iii. Take videos of the event

iv. Mount a live broadcast

● Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Education:

• College Graduate, preferably Multimedia Arts, Journalism, Mass Communications, Marketing, Advertising or any related courses.

Work experience:

• Preferably 1-2 year experience in a related field; open to fresh graduates with related experience.

• On-camera experience such as hosting is an advantage.

Knowledge and skills:

• On-camera experience such as hosting is an advantage
• Must be willing to perform field work as needed.

• Must have access to Cebu City In-depth knowledge of all things Cebu

• Required languages/dialects: Cebuano, English, Filipino

• Must have the necessary facilities to work from home when needed

• Must be able to thrive working in a virtual/remote setting

• Expertise or working knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, as well as Meta and TikTok publishing tools and Microsoft Office and Google Workplace Tools
