Web Developer | Work From Home  

We are looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design, and layout of our website. This position will be responsible for building WordPress and Shopify pages, building AB tests in AB testing tools (Google Optimize, VWO, Optimizely), and maintaining the website. Web developer responsibilities are to help the PMs and designers build AB tests and develop websites for conversion rate optimization purposes.

Core Tasks

• Demonstrated success managing sites created on the WordPress or Shopify platform
• Ability to recommend thoughtful content strategy supporting complex sections of content and make decisions around page look/structure that optimizes usability while preserving brand/website style guide
• Work collaboratively to shape web strategy serving multiple audiences and business units
• Content integration supporting new pages, dynamic content sections, e-Forms, and landing pages
• Ability to write specs for features and functionality and partner with external developers to execute
• Familiarity with and passionate support of online best practices around responsive design, development, user experience, and SEO
• Serve as the single point of contact for ongoing site updates and revisions, imagery, and resources
• Able to understand and execute website strategies for our clients
• Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
• Ensuring high performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin
• Stay abreast of website technologies and best practices

Technical Skills

• At least 3 years of Wordpress or Shopify development experience and experience leading projects
• Experience with AB testing tools such as Google Optimize, Optimizely, VWO, or any other tools
• Understand the importance of a strong company culture and being a part of a team
• Able to focus on a task to completion with precise attention to detail
• A “go-getter” - results-oriented and puts in extra effort to exceed expectations (you’ll be in a team of them)

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly present complex ideas and information
