Web Designer  

Role Summary

We’re looking for a motivated & creative Web Designer for our client, David Petersen (NHM). The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to sharpen their web design skills, enjoys creative problem-solving, and thrives in a team environment. Responsibilities

• Converting graphic, video, and written components into compatible formats for the web
• Assisting the web design & development team with all aspects of website design
• Using user feedback to identify and correct problems with the client's website
• Assisting with testing and maintenance of client websites
• Collaborating with developers to implement new web features
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest web technology trends

Requirements

• At least 1-year experience in web design
• At least 1-2 years of experience in graphic design
• WordPress development experience
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Portfolio of sample work
• Basic understanding of HTML & CSS
• Understanding of UX/UI (user experience/user interface) design
• Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization)
• Good visual design sense
• Experience in responding well to clients’ design requests
• Must be willing to work US Pacific Office Hours (12AM-9AM PHT)

Nice to have

• Experience in a startup environment or similarly a fast-paced, highly demanding, high volume, dynamic environment.
