Solution Engineer | CFX  

We are looking to hire an experienced Solutions Engineer to work alongside our passionate sales team. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be required to conduct discovery calls with our trained Sales Representatives, draft and deliver presentations, demonstrate the features of company products, and create customized software solutions for the client.

To ensure success as a Solutions Engineer, you should have in-depth knowledge of software and hardware systems, a passion for sales, and high-level communications skills. Ultimately, a top-notch Solutions Engineer drives sales by creating specialized business software solutions, tailor-made to the customer's needs.

Solutions Engineer Responsibilities:

• Conducting client discovery calls with Sales Representatives.
• Meeting with clients to discuss their hardware and software needs.
• Strategizing with the sales team to create customized solutions.
• Drafting and delivering presentations on targeted products.
• Designing and installing customized software and hardware solutions for the customer.
• Testing the performance of the installed system and fixing bugs.
• Providing post-installation follow-ups.
• Developing relationships and maintaining customer relations.
• Supporting the sales team with all technical related queries.

1. Deployment

2. Basic knowledge of Linux system (vi editor, Basic Linux commands for file management like copy move, tar, untar, zip, unzip, running scripts)
3. Basic switching and routing concept with L2 and L3 switches
4. Knowledge of different electrical and optical SFP types with their supported speed(1Gig/10 Gig)
5. Virtualized HP blade system (HP C7000 BL460) knowledge will be added advantage
6. Working in virtual BOX will have added advantage

7. Integration

8. Good understanding of IMS subsystem and the network elements(P/S/ICSCF, BGCF, A-SBC, I-SBC/I-BCF, Application Servers like TAS, MRF)
9. Sound knowledge on the different SIP interfaces (Gm, Mw, Mr, Mi, Mg, Mx,ISC, Ma ) connected to IMS core elements P/S/ICSCF, BGCF
10. Sound knowledge on the different Diameter interfaces (Rx, Cx, Dx, Sh,Dh, ) connected to IMS core elements P/S/ICSCF, AS
11. Basic knowledge on IPv4 and IPv6

12. Testing

13. Good knowledge on VoLTE /IMS registration call flow (registration, de-registration, 3rd party registration)
14. Good knowledge on VoLTE /IMS call flows (basic Mo-MT IMS call, call forwarding, call hold, call transfer, Announcements in Orig Leg and Term Leg, inter circle, intra circle, CSFB, SRVCC, SMS call flows)
15. Good knowledge on Basic SIP protocol as per RFC 3261
16. Good knowledge on Extended SIP P- headers defined in RFC 3455
17. Basic knowledge on Megaco/H.248 for MGW communication
18. Basic knowledge on Diameter protocols for AAA purpose
19. Knowledge on IFCs stored in HSS and SCSCF
20. Must have Debugging knowledge in packet analyzer tool (Wireshark, and linux tcpdump)
