Ruby on Rails Developer  

Client is looking for a software developer with Ruby on Rails experience to work on various teams and stacks. The type of projects the teams work on include credit card processing, treasury disbursements, and merchant reporting. In addition, this role will expand the capabilities of the Braintree platform by leveraging edge compute and serverless technology. The team values unique perspectives brought by diverse backgrounds and experiences. A broad range of ideas and perspective help create the best possible product.

- 7+ years’ experience building software or web applications using Ruby on Rails with a focus on writing clean, well designed, and scalable code

- Ability and desire to work in our collaborative environment: pair programming and regular cross-team problem solving with all products and operations teams

- A commitment to documentation, including interest or experience in docs-driven development

- Enthusiasm for pragmatic testing, valuing thorough tests more than total coverage. Experience using a test heavy approach to solve problems and create solutions

- Focus on building solutions utilizing an agile approach

Contract Initial 6 months possible for extension and absorption.

WFH until further notice, when RTO the candidate will be deployed to Metro Manila area.
