Job Description - Overview:
We are seeking a creative full stack web developer that can work with our customer’s software application team to achieve their digital transformation business goals. The ideal candidate for this position is a hands-on professional with a strong knowledge of front and back-end web development technologies. You will work with the rest of the team in an Agile environment to analyze, design, develop, deploy and support applications to meet business and technical requirements.

Key Job Functions and Duties:
As a Software Developer, Full Stack, you will work in our Agile development environment and add new features, enhance current functionality, and fix bugs on our back-end order processing systems. We utilize a variety of front- and back-end technologies like C#/VB/ASP.NET, SQL Server, Web Forms, WCF, MVC, Webpages (HTML+JS+CSS), client-side frameworks (Angular, ReactJS) as well as cloud infrastructure

General skills:
➢ Experienced with back-end programming languages (node.js, ruby, Python, Smalltalk).
➢ Experience using front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Vue.js).
➢ Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
➢ ReactJS Framework knowledge is required (Facebook integration)
➢ Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
➢ Previous usage of Databases such as MySQL, MongoDB is a plus.

Desired Experience & Qualities
➢ 2 to 6+ years’ experience
➢ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent

Qualifications and Accreditations:
Must be familiar with:
➢ ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, and Web API
➢ Microsoft Visual Studio
➢ Microsoft SQL Server (2012+)
➢ Unit and Integration testing
➢ Microservices, OWASP and security testing
➢ Web app development using REST APIs, and other tools in PHP using Laravel
Highly Desirable
➢ Appian accreditation
➢ Desire to move into an Appian development team

Reporting structure:
The Web developer reports to the BPA customer lead System Administrator and Database Administrator – LINUX and Windows.
