We are looking for a detail oriented, dynamic individual who will head our Housekeeping Department. The role shall report directly to the General Manager/ Deputy Manager and will be responsible in managing the daily operations of the housekeeping department. He/she shall ensure that all rooms and common areas are kept clean and tidy and that the highest standards of hospitality are meet.. He/she will lead a team of housekeeping staff and ensures their tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
The job responsibilities includes but not limited to :
- Direct and coordinate all housekeeping activities.
- Develop and implement safety and security protocols.
- Plans and develop housekeeping budget.
- Monitor stock of cleaning supplies, linens and uniforms and guest supplies.
- Coordinates and assist the Purchasing Department in selecting suppliers for items related to Housekeeping.
- Ensures that rooms are always clean, well sanitize and has proper guest supplies.
- Maintains and responsible in handling lost and found items. Determine the rightful owner and send correspondences.
- Does daily inspection of public areas and employees locker room.
- Conducts daily briefing for Supervisors / Executives.
- Coordinate the preventive maintenance schedule for rooms and public area with the maintenance department.
- Supervise, guides and train Houskeeping staff in doing their task.
- Evaluates work performance and attitude of staff , coach them as needed in their areas for improvement.
- Recruit and train new employees. Assign new employees to work wtih experienced staff, check their progress and validate reports done by the supervisor.
- Attends to request of guests in a timely manner.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- At least 8 hears of proven experience in a similar role, 3 years of which must be in a Luxury Hotel Management industry .
- Knowledgeable in all housekeeping policies, trends and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and people management skills.
- Ability to multi task and has keen eye for detail.
- Has strong operational / technical knowledge
- Has entrepreneural mindset.
- Successfull pre-opening experience ,an advantage
- Ability to train staff .
