Duties and Responsibilities

• Evaluates scanned images of the heart that will help the cardiologist determine which images should be saved and which should be discarded.
• Interviews, take medical histories, explain the procedure and position patients in resting positions or upon treadmill so that the images turn out properly.
• Assess/ assigns 2DECHO reader depending on the requesting doctor.
• Updates schedule and records equipment calibration and preventive maintenance requirements following the manufacturer's instructions.
• Updates and records daily maintenance of equipment and reports any malfunction.
• Checks supply stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.

• Candidate must be a graduate of BS Medical Technologist, BS Nursing or BS Radiologic Technology with Training Certificate
• With at least 2 years working experience
• Must be patient or customer service oriented
• Must be good in communication skills both (oral and written)
