Technical Buyer  

The Technical Buyer performs end-to-end purchasing and logistics-related activities to ensure safe and timely delivery of items ordered by the Operations at lowest possible landed cost with due consideration to the criticality of the item.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support overall procurement strategy set by management.
• Maintain and further develop positive performance-driven relationships between key business unit stakeholders and group procurement.
• Develop knowledge of the global supplier base and establish relationships with key suppliers worldwide.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure availability of items and ensure smooth operations.

• Bachelor's degree with at least 9 months of relevant experience.
• IT literate for working with advanced procurement systems.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving skills
• High stress level, being comfortable handling numerous tasks within limited timeframes in a structured manner with eye for the detail level necessary
• Strong-minded with robust personality.
• Proactive.
• Process-oriented.
• Effective communicator with a good command in English
• Ability to communicate at all levels.
• Ability to adapt in multi-cultural working environment.
