Company Driver  

Summary

Directly reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the position is in charge of speedy delivery and pick up of documents and driving the delivery van according to the prepared schedule.

Specific duties and responsibilities

• Drives the delivery van according to the weekly schedule s or as instructed.
• Drives Office Staff to appointments and official functions as may be necessary.
• Maintains a vehicle logbook to record details of daily visits and itinerary of travels.
• Maintain and upkeep designated vehicles and promptly informs the office if there are repair or maintenance work needed.
• Takes charge of informing immediate superior of registration schedule of the assigned vehicle and requirements prior registration such payments and insurance procedures.
• Ensures safety of passenger, merchandise, and vehicle at all times while on duty.
• Performs bank transactions and updating of passbooks.
• Delivers check payments.
• Performs other related duties that may be assigned.

• Preferably with work related experience.
• Has a Professional driver’s license with restriction code 1 and 2.
• Knowledgeable in traffic rules and regulations, as well as road safety guidelines.
• Familiar with the streets of Metro Manila and routes going to delivery locations.
• Knows how to drive both manual and automatic transmission.
• Consistently alert and attentive.
• Physically fit, neat, and well groomed.
• Willing for shifting schedules, especially during deliveries.
