Product Owner  

What You'll Do

• Work closely with the product management and stakeholders of the company and maintain the product backlog according to the business value
• Develop an idea or a new requirement into an innovative feature
• Serve as the product ambassador internally on your projects, and answering questions related to the product
• Identify and document issues, risks, and opportunities related to requirements
• Write detailed specifications
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria
• Create wireframes for your projects (a big plus)
• Coordinate and work with the tech team to assess feasibility of features when needed
• Participate in the agile delivery of the projects
• Assist in operational rollout and support
• Keep track of industry trends

As a Product Owner at goFLUENT, you will be part of the Tech and Product teams supporting world class clients. The focus of the role is to provide innovative product features as part of our brand new digital learning platform Emile, and the Information system as a whole.

Emile, goFLUENTs most powerful learning portal yet, leverages AI-powered technology that provides personalization of activities based on learners needs and goals, targeted learning content that are business-focused and job-specific, and engaging human interaction that harnesses the power of Microsoft Teams video conferencing capabilities.

Its main goal is to provide organizations with a faster, more user-friendly, and personalized language learning platform that facilitates faster language skills acquisition that is relevant to their job roles and positions.

What Youll Need

• 5+ years of experience with Agile Methodology, writing user stories, prioritizing backlog, etc...
• Technical background with knowledge of software development
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handling priorities
• Organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment by combining analytical rigor and judgment
• Ability to understand how teams work together and how they exchange information
• Be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources
• Strong commitment to exceptional customer experience, enthusiasm to drive positive change and persuasive ability
• Degree in Information Systems or similar fields
• Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written (ability to present detailed analysis, assumptions, and recommendations succinctly). Speaking French will be a strong plus.
