Corporate English Trainer | Korean Bilingual

The position
We are looking for fun, energetic, and intelligent individuals from different backgrounds who will help transform our clients’ communication skills and make them more competitive in today’s dynamic business world. A balance between good English and Korean instruction skills and learner engagement is what we look for in a candidate.

As a trainer, you will be conducting lessons online and over the phone to our clients. Our learners are mostly business professionals and executives. You will be teaching our learners English but you must know atleast basic Korean for the job.On any given day, you may have a CEO, senior manager of a top company, scientist, doctors, lawyers, or other professionals from highly-specialized fields as your learner.

Requirements:

• Must be fluent in Korean (B1 to C2 proficiency or equivalent)
• Must be willing to work from home
• Training, teaching, or tutoring experience (minimum of 1 year)
• Business and/or corporate experience (minimum of 2 to 3 years)
• Excellent English communication skills (speaking, reading, writing --- grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.)
• First or second language must be English
• A college degree is required
• Good computer skills
• Typing skills and the ability to type accurately while on the telephone
• Know how to multitask
• Quiet, dedicated workspace
• Working permit for non-Filipino citizens

Technical Requirements:

• PC or laptop (Windows 8, 8.1 or 10 with 4 GB of RAM or Mac OSX El Capitan)
• Processor (Core i3 or equivalent)
• Browsers (Firefox or Chrome as a backup)
• High-speed internet connection (Download 5 to 10Mbps, Upload 2 to 4 Mbps)
• Computer headset
• Webcam capability is a plus

Teaching days and hours:

Working days are from Monday to Sunday (your choice within the 7 days), and we require a minimum of five hours per day, five days a week for a total minimum of 30-40 hours a week.
