Content Marketer (Ref. No. 2155)  

The GLF Content Marketer works on the GLF communications and digital teams, and is responsible for marketing existing and future content strategically in order to increase reach, paid and organic traffic and overall audience engagement to help further GLF’s mission.

Key responsibilities are:

• Plan, oversee and report on content and inbound marketing
• Leverage existing GLF and CIFOR-ICRAF content
• Content planning with the Landscape News, Landscape Academy, GLF knowledge team and partners on specific or cross-department content.
• Optimize content type for specific channels and to increase shareability
• Work with web team on content website architecture and interactive content:
• Increase distribution through all GLF channels and SEO/Link building
• Leverage content for website retention: gated content etc.
• Oversee on-site SEO with web team
• Lead off-site SEO in order to increase organic traffic
• Conduct tactical link-building outreach
• Marketing and web copy review

• Demonstrated interest and experience in the strategic and innovative use of inbound marketing efforts
• Proven track record in successful content marketing activities
• Fluency in English is essential, proficiency in other languages (French, Spanish) is an advantage
• Prove track record as marketing and web copy writer or editor
• Demonstrated familiarity with online marketing tools and the rapidly evolving terminology
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Willingness to travel internationally for work for long periods from 1-3 months.
