Truck Dispatcher  

Ensures that the truck drivers have cargo to carry and stick to their appointed arrival times, destinations, helping drivers to concentrate on routes and to safely deliver their cargo.

• Schedules and dispatch drivers, helpers, equipment and service vehicles to appropriate locations according to costumer request, specifications and needs.
• Issues Job Orders and arranges necessary repairs in order to restore service and schedules.
• Relays Dispatch Order, messages, and information to or from drivers/helpers, supervisors, using cellphones and emails.
• Coordinates with clients or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and request for service.
• Receives and prepares daily work and run schedules.
• Monitors personnel and/or equipment locations and utilization in order to coordinate services and schedules.
• Records and maintains files, records of costumer request, work/services performed, diesel consumption, fuel factor and other dispatch information.
• Advises drivers about traffic problems such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, and another hazard.
  

• At least 2nd-year college
• Experience as a Truck Dispatcher
• Detailed and task-oriented
• Team player and has leadership and good communication skills
