Deskripsi Pekerjaan
The Payroll Officer is responsible in assisting with the processing of payroll, remitting payroll taxes and government reporting as well as preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end payroll statements to be reviewed by his / her Manager that will ensure compliance with government regulations. He / she will also assist in facilitation of other employee benefits including but not limited to:
- HMO coordination (processing and availment)
- Mental Health care facilitation and coordination for availment
- Other Income monitoring and recording
- Manpower related reports generation and preparation.
Main Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and correctly
- Gathering and examining timesheets to ensure their validity
- Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information
- Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages and reporting on this
- Confirming that legally-mandated and optional deductions have been processed correctly.
- Determining payroll liabilities by calculating employee income, gov't agency contributions, employer's social security, unemployment, and employees compensation payments
- Resolving payroll discrepancies
- Addressing queries about payroll-related issues
- Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures
- Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
- Facilitate / coordinate government requirements with employee
- Other related duties as required or assigned
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Working knowledge in Compensation and Benefits Administration;
- With experience in payroll preparation and processing;
- With background and updated in reporting and processing government-mandated benefits and requirements;
- Experienced in preparing and processing employment taxation (BIR 2316, 1601C, 1601E, 2551Q);
- Experienced in preparing journal entries;
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Working knowledge and background in understanding and interpreting the Labor Laws a plus;
