Software Engineer

Have the opportunity to work with AI researchers and web engineers from Stanford, Airbnb, Stripe and Facebook. Work will be mostly remote with monthly hackathons at an Airbnb we book for the team, food included. We’re funded by Pear + Bain Capital Ventures and executives from companies like Tencent and we are growing our team.

We're building software that uses AI to help automate the workflow of freight forwarders globally. The person we are looking to hire should be a solid full stack engineer with knowledge of web development and a solid algorithmic background. They will be involved in building out the web aspects for the core technology of our product. No machine learning experience is required.

Nature of job:
Our current stack is Flask + React (typescript), the engineer we are hiring will be working with both. Internet at home is necessary because we have no office in the Philippines and we are completely remote.

• 2+ yrs of experience in web development (extensive personal projects or professionally)
• 2+ years of experience with Python (web frameworks, personal projects, etc)
• Web development and data structures knowledge
• Being excited to work with people from diverse backgrounds on challenging engineering problems
• Flask and React experience a plus, but willingness to put in the time and learn helpful
