Sr HR Representative I  

Responsible for managing several key areas within the HR function, such as compensation, employee relations, talent development, inclusion, talent acquisition, training and development, driver safety, disability and worker’s compensation. May manage HR function for a business unit or line of business.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provides HR generalist support and counsel to managers in areas such as talent development, performance management, training/organizational development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, worker’s compensation, safety and other related areas.
• Act as a confidant to management on all matters of business; provide HR guidance and counsel to managers and associates and counsel managers regarding disciplinary actions and appropriate resolution of employee relation issues.
• Influence managers to effectively leverage talent to maximize business objectives.
• Provides assistance to associates and supervisors in solving work-related problems and performance management issues.
• Coordinate and interpret all company policies to assure consistent application and equitable employee relations.
• Responsible for listening, evaluating and investigating employee relations issues.
• Partner and consult with internal and/or external legal counsel to effectively respond to issues.
• Develops and conducts Leadership and Inclusion training.
• Contribute as a project leader to key strategic business initiatives.
• Increase department functional efficiency through continual process improvement methods.

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years' professional Human Resources Management experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade decision makers.
• Strong written, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues.
• Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve issues
• Must have the ability to work as a member of a team and collaborate with colleagues and customers.
• Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize work.
• Approach work in a customer-focused manner, to deliver coaching and solutions that are supportive of our customer’s needs.
