Credit and Collection Head  

Duties and Responsibilities

• Planning, evaluating, implementing and continuously improving all aspects of credit & collection functions and processes
• Oversees investigation of credit risk in customers and suppliers and advises on course of action for credit applications.
• Monitors and negotiates on the collection of overdue accounts
• Ensure his staff is meeting production goals, complying with company standards and generally performing the essential functions of their position.
• Review delinquent account records to determine which customers must be contacted for collection of overdue accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/Accountancy/Banking or a related field, Professional license (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam).
• At least 4-5 years in a leadership role specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent
• With at least 6-7 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required
• Required skills(s): Credit and Collection Management , Credit and Debit notes
• Must possess strong systems skills; solid collection, analytical and negotiating skills; effective oral and written communication skills; and a solid knowledge of commercial credit and collection laws.
