Position Overview
PHP developers create websites, applications, and programs using PHP and/or modify existing applications to meet the needs spelled out in System Requirement documents, and Technical Design Documents. A PHP Developer analyses user needs through the implementation of content, performance, graphics, and capacity; with a thorough knowledge of developing cross platforms that are compatible with Web, mobile Web, and video applications, the PHP Developer should be able to complete entire user stories in full stack development and have experience with multiple PHP Frameworks.
General Responsibilities:
- Directly coordinate with the Digital Marketing Manager to implement predefined wireframes and sitemaps
- Design interfaces and graphics for presentations and mobile-delivered applications
- Design and implement websites from initial concept, site architecture, and user interface to finished deliverable
- Code and implement WordPress, Drupal, Joomla and other PHP sites from Photoshop layout through HTML/CSS to a custom theme, functions, and plugins
- Design and implement new features, enhancements, and content of existing websites
- Create and update re-usable code libraries to streamline the development cycle
- Troubleshoot PHP issues with websites
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Degree/Certification in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- With at least 3-5 years’ experience working in web development and interface design
- Proven software development experience in PHP
- Understanding of open source projects like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, osCommerce, etc.
- Exceptional knowledge of current web development languages (including HTML5, CSS3, PHP/MySQL)
- Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
- Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay, etc)
- Familiarity with web standards and usability
- Good understanding of SEO best practices is an advantage
- Flexibility and eagerness to identify, learn, and use new and changing technologies
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time with strong attention to detail
- Creative ability in the graphic design space is an advantage
- cPanel & WHM experience is a plus
