Procurement Specialist  

The Procurement and Logistics Specialist is responsible in delivering requirements of all yards and head office at best value and in strict adherence to MOP’s collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that purchases are paid based on agreed payment terms and delivery requirements are met.

Job Description

• Check if the information in the E-Notes (Purchase Request) is complete with all the required specifications and supporting documents for creating Request for Quotation (RFQ
• Initiate Bid / Canvass process; identify possible Suppliers from existing source list of from vendor database
• Evaluate quotations / proposals and establish best value offer.
• Liquidate cash advances for cash purchases.
• Assists in the shipment of materials through inter-branch.
• Pickup parts / consumables from supplier for Emergency PO
• Secure and validate correctness of payment terms / Shipment instructions.
• Ensure the proper in co-terms is clearly defined in the PO
• Ensure accurate delivery / shipment instructions are reflected on the face of the PO

Job Qualification

• A graduate of any 4 year related course.
• At least 1 year work experience in the same industry
• Good oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Goal Oriented
