As an integral member of our team, the Data Governance Manager will play a vital role in delivering essential support in the strategic projects to help achieve company’s success. The key responsibilities for this position are:

• Developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures
• Collaborating with stakeholders and internal teams across the organization to establish data standards and ensure adherence to data policies
• Conducting data quality assessments and implementing data quality improvements
• Developing and maintaining data dictionaries and data lineage documentation
• Monitoring and resolving data governance-related issues
• Providing training and support to end-users on data governance policies and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations
• Responsible in identifying appropriate protocols for business to effectively and efficiently govern the access and management of their data
• Defining and labeling of data sources by their level of risk through categorizing and classifying data assets
• Identifying security protocols per category and classification of data assets

You might be who we are looking for!

• Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Management or other relevant courses
• Must have at least 8 years of proven experience in data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection
• Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices
• Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
• Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design
• Knowledge of risk data architecture and technology solutions
• Strong in skills related to organization, leadership, decision-making, analytical and problem solving
• Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Knows how to negotiate with stakeholders when conflict arises
• Amenable to hybrid work setup
