Monitors the system to achieve optimum level of performance.
Ensures data integrity by maintaining appropriate software and hardware solutions (Backup, Data Redundancy, Data and Network Security).
Be responsible for reliably supporting the technology our internal departments depend on to do their jobs, and to partner with other teams to use technology to efficiently and creatively drive improvements in how we all work.
Be responsible for supporting the collection, filtering, prioritization and planning of the ‘right work’.
Perform work in a manner that helps customers and team members get the most out of systems.
All other duties as assigned.
Attendance as required by department.
Qualifications:
Experience implementing and supporting Linux systems.
Very strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of CentOS and Ubuntu.
Experienced ¡n Virtualization with VMware ESXi and vCenter.
Network and system monitoring with Zenoss and Nagios/Cacti.
TCP/IP, ONS, RADIUS, SAMBA4 AD, selinux, ossec, sssd, LDAP, Kerberos.
Understanding of DNS and how to configure and troubleshoot it.
Configuring and maintaining Apache servers.
Troubleshooting 3-tier (app, web,db) services.
Configuring and administering MySQL databases.
