- Attends to the immediate concerns in the department
- Answers telephone calls and relays messages to person concerned
- Receives visitors in the office and attends to their needs
- Prepares/reproduces documents needed by administrators
- Directs inquiries on official matters to offices/personnel concerne
- Arranges appointments with administrators after prior consulatation
- Systematically maintains and updates office files
- Perform work with accuracy and neatness, turns in work that is up to standard
- Works independently and with minimal suggestions
- Prepares the minutes of the meetings
- keeps sensitive information strictly confidential
