Graphic and Web Designer | Hybrid  

The role works closely and collaborates with the whole team across Olsen Palmer to produce innovative branding collateral and graphics for a number of projects simultaneously, while also taking charge and having an understanding of marketing and production of marketing collateral.

The position includes but is not limited to:

• Running, managing, and developing branding projects from initiation through client meetings, design development, creation, invoicing, and completion of the project.
• Development of future editions of The WEST Journal, working on both print and digital collateral.
• Produce the content of The WEST Journal, including photography.
• Management of social media channels
• Create visually compelling print and digital solutions for marketing.
• Client liaison
• Having an understanding of marketing and advertising solutions for both in-house as well as for clients.
• The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work that demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experience in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlet
• Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print, and digital media
• Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in graphic design
• 2-4 years’ experience in marketing and advertising
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills
• Portfolio of work
