We are seeking a creative, organised and highly self-motivated Mechanical Engineer who has extensive experience with Solidworks to assist our Mining, Civil, Commercial and Environmental teams to deliver on projects by designing and engineering turn key solutions for storage tanks, transport tanks, pontoons, gangways and floating walkways.
We are a multi-faceted Rotational Moulding company servicing multiple industries in Australia and overseas. We are industry leaders and are committed to continue to grow and succeed through innovation.
As our Mechanical Engineer you will have Solidworks certification (CSWP or CSWA) and be highly competent in the use of Solidworks 2D/3D background (weldments, metal, plastic and other multi-body structures), Solidworks simulation and 2D drawings.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- A Mechanical Engineer Degree
- Proficient experience in steel structure design
- Reverse engineering capabilities
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Extensive Experience in FEA of steel structures
- Experience with COG and Buoyancy Calculations
- Understanding of Weldments
- A minimum of 2 years working with large steel structures
- A minimum of 6 months experience with Solidworks
- Experience in a workshop environment will be viewed very favourably however is not a must have.
