Technical Writer | Software Development  

BlueFletch has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Technical Writer to join our dynamic team.

This position will temporarily be on a Work-from-Home (WFH) arrangement.

• Defining documentation strategy, standards, structure, tooling, and documentation taxonomy.

• Managing and prioritizing aspects of our external and internal documentation.

• Configuring and customizing documentation content management system.

• Work closely with our development team to create high-quality externally facing product documentation.

• Interviewing and working with our QA, UX, and Development team experts.

• Testing software and creating release notes.

• Review documentation analytics and customer feedback to provide feature requests back to the product team.

• Build FAQs

• Support the sales team with documentation on new features and client customizations.

• Planning and recording product videos.

• 1-3 years of experience in creating various forms of technical documentation to improve the experiences of our end users.
• Familiarity with content management systems for posting and sharing product documentation.
• Previous experience in setting up and configuration of mobile and server-side components for documentation screenshots and video.
• Experience in creating API documentation with tools such as Swagger, Postman, readme, or similar tools.
• Strong writing or documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and team collaboration.
• Strong organization and communication skills (oral and written)
• Exceptional analytical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Android Application Tooling such as ADB, Vysor, LogCat, android studio experience
• Atlassian Experiences such as Bitbucket and Jira
• JSON Editing
• API Testing tooling
• Video Editing Software
• Must be willing to be on temporary remote work arrangement.
