- Establishes a Java Core platform and product roadmap that supports the business strategy.
- Guide Java Core team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
- Consults with department heads, such as solutions, product development, and operations as an advisor of technologies that improve efficiency and effectiveness..
- Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the Java team and the wider business.
- Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates, and work plans.
- Design, develop, and assist with testing applications in line with industry best standards and practices.
- Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and related code.
- Package and support deployment of releases.
- Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.
- Analyse and resolve technical and application problems.
- Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and on budget.
Kualifikasi Minimum
Desired Skills & Experience Minimum Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience as a Software Developer
- Prior experience in a technical leadership position
Core Competency Requirements:
- Proficient with Java, PHP, JavaScript and other useful technology and programming languages
- SQL based database design and technologies
- In-depth knowledge and experience of core systems including cloud hosting and infrastructure solutions
- Extensive experience designing and developing enterprise grade software
- Experience with:
- source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments
- automated testing
- agile development methodologies including scrum
- multi-threading and concurrency
- debugging, performance profiling and optimization
- Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories
- Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
- Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes.
