Network Team Lead  

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and implementation of projects for network improvements
• Upgrade and build data center powered by software-defined networking and network function virtualization.
• Administration of different network services such as IPAM, DHCP, DNS, Proxy, Content Filtering
• LAN, WAN, WLAN troubleshooting. Lead in crisis situation and restoration of service.
• Respond to cyber security alerts and events. Block traffic using firewall rules, access-list in routers and switches
• Built script and create automation to replace manual configuration
• Monitor and operate wired and wireless networks composed of routers, switches, firewalls, WLC, access points, proxy servers, load balancers.
• Proactive monitoring of network infrastructure - bandwidth utilization, device performance and availability
• Create and submit reports as requested by management
• Create and improve documentation, procedures and policies
• Conduct Network Refresh to ensure all equipment and servers are updated.
• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Job Requirement/Specification:

Education : Bachelor's Degree in ECE, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or any related technical courses

Key Skills :

• LAN Switching: VLAN, STP, Link Aggregation, Redundancy gateway protocols VRRP, HSRP
• IP Routing: BGP, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, Policy-Based Routing, QOS, VRF
• Circuit knowledge (MPLS, Internet, Metro-Ethernet, E1, T1, DS3)
• Network security, NAT, Firewalls (Fortigate, ASA, Open Source Firewall pfSense) Unified Threat Management
• VPN (Site-to-Site VPN, Remote Access VPN, SSL VPN)
• Radius, Tacacs, NAC, 802.1X
• Automation experience is preferred
• Scripting - Pearl, Python
• Deep understanding of IPv6 stack is a plus.
• Experience in Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure, others) is a plus

Qualifications :

• At least 5-6 years of experience in Networking
• CCNA is a must or any equivalent certification (HP AIS, Juniper Network Associate, and others). Desirably CCNP (R&S, Security, Enterprise). Equivalent certifications may be considered, but candidates are expected to know Cisco-based syntax, and terminology.
• At least 3 years Supervisory/ Team Lead experience.
• Preferably who in interested in programming and scripting
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful, grit, can work under pressure with minimal or no supervision.
• Provide excellent customer service with strong oral and written communication skills
• While this position works primarily on Philippines day and mid shifts, the team provides 24-hour support for the company. Candidates will be on-call and need to be willing to work on-night shift, weekend, and holiday if need arises.
