Deskripsi Pekerjaan
Under the supervision of the Managing Director, the R&D Associate shall spearhead product innovation, conduct sample and product testing, and processing of product registrations and licenses.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, and AUTHORITIES
Research and Development
- Manage new product development projects from recipe creation to lab prototype and then to industrial product
- Operate laboratory and analytical equipment for the trials and testing
- Coordinate logistics for raw materials and sample delivery/acquisition
- Review and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current international regulations and relevant technical product and processing information
- Complete and submit documentation to support regulatory requirements and claims
Others
- Spearhead relevant application for various accrediting bodies and organizations
- May be assigned other tasks as needed
BASIC RELATIONSHIP
- Reports to Quality Manager and Managing Director
- Coordinated with Procurement and QA for Raw Materials
- May be assigned other tasks by the Plant Manager
Kualifikasi Minimum
- 3+ years of professional experience in Research and Development at a food manufacturing facility, experience in confectionary a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Engineering or related technical field
- Knowledge of and experience with FDA, HACCP, Halal, GMP and/or ISO 9000 / ISO 22000
- Desire and ability to understand the principles and application of cocoa/chocolate science
- Strong written and verbal communication, effective organization, ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and Google Suite
