Backend Engineer  

Asani is the first tech-enabled electronic leasing platform in Indonesia with the vision that ownership in Indonesia will be transformed into leasing similar to that in other developed countries. We started by renting electronic equipment mainly laptops and computers to businesses in Indonesia. We help our clients in improving their cash-flow through the pay-as-you-go model, removing their hassle in maintaining or reselling the equipment, and offering flexibility in upgrading periodically.

System development in Asani focusing on asset and procurement management and also build systems for IT support and customer service. We plan to scale our system in the near time, so we hope you can help us to improve the system and boost the business. You should have a strong software engineering background and eagerness to improve the existing product experience.

The following are some points that will describe what you will do:

• Design and build a web-based application platform to speed up the development process
• Design databases that meet organizational needs to improve efficiency and outputs, and may focus on issues such as reducing data redundancy or improving data movement across systems.
• Automate software development process to optimise software build and deployment
• Specify and maintain code quality standard, keep it well designed, stable, maintainable, scalable and satisfies the project requirements
• Effective at breaking-down complex multi-platform problems
• Supervising and overseeing the technical aspects of projects.

• Passion for experimentations and new ideas
• Passion for learning and always improving yourself and the team around you
• Fast learner and have strong analytical thinking
• Good communication skill, team player, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams
• Enjoy working on the latest technology, deep knowledge in Go, Kubernetes, Pubsub mechanic like Kafka/RabbitMQ, gRPC, graphQL, and MySQL is a big plus
