Accountant  

• Financial transactions/ journal entries in the system/ books on a daily basis and summarizes them into financial reports
• Maintains general ledgers, recording the status of various accounts and make sure that all the accounts balance
• Performs month-end and year-end closing activities, including but not limited to bank reconciliations, quarterly and annual income tax computation, amortization and depreciation of fixed assets, and records adjustments in the system/ books
• Assists the team in preparation of financial statements and generation of accounting and audit reports such as trial balance, related schedules, and other financial reports
• Records fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the system, maintains and updates lapsing schedule, and records entries in the system/ books
• Prepares and maintains manual books of accounts for all subsidiaries, thru excel and columnars
• coordinates with internal and external customers for Accounting related matters, problem resolution, request of financial information, etc.
• Ensures accounting records are filed accordingly

Educational Background:

• Graduate of BS Accountancy preferably Certified Public Accountant
• At least 5 years of related experience in payable, receivable or general accounting

Technical Knowledge/Special Training/Work Experience

• Payable, receivable or general accounting work
• Financial statements preparation
