The position is responsible for the delivery of IT support services by ensuring the reliability, availability and maintenance of all technology requirements in operations including the IT infrastructure, software and network connectivity for voice and data communications, in accordance with Company policies and standards.LAN Implementation, Administration and Maintenance
LAN Implementation, Administration and Maintenance
- Designs the local area network for every new location
- Recommends the appropriate service provider/ supplier and/or contractor for the hardware and network requirements
- Configure communication equipment (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, WiFi/AP, VPN, Network/Security VMservers or appliance).
- Provision of network connectivity as requested.
- Evaluates and recommends type of access to be given to system user
- Conducts quarterly network and security audit and compliance review.
- Conducts regular maintenance on all network equipment including updates on OS/IOS or firmware.
- Monitors network firewall, network connection and testing of network access control.
- Responsible in keeping the network in compliance to IT industry standard (ISO27001, ISMS)
WAN Administration and Maintenance
- Ensures availability of connectivity, as well as the bandwidth (spread of transmission) of each link
- Troubleshoots, isolates and takes appropriate course of action on problems that may affect availability, speed of transmission of the wide area connectivity links for both voice and data
- Monitors performance of service providers for the connectivity.
- Submit monthly review of service performance
Voice and Data Communication Administration and Maintenance
- Determines hardware and network upgrades and expansion to support growing processing requirement for voice and data communication.
- Configures and manages voice equipment (CUCM)
- Phone provisioning HW/SW
Plant Monitoring Systems (SCADA and PLC)
- Troubleshoot SCADA hardware for error
- Image backup and restoration related to SCADA
- Minor upgrades on SCADA hardware (HDD, Monitor, CPU)
- Configuration of SCADA software (logs, alarm, redundancy)
- Conduct annual preventive maintenance
- Provides network provisioning and troubleshooting support to network hardware and connectivity to users
Server and Systems Application
- Design and implement Server infrastructure including security requirement across all site
- Provisioning of Server instance on VM’s
- Configuring of Servers, VM’s, OS’s, OS firewall, server application, databases, backups and security.
- Manage server application and services (GPO, DNS, DHCP, HTTPS, FTP, DFS, Security firewall etc.)
- Manage user management
- Email management (Account provisioning, deletion and support)
- Conducts periodic system and file backup on critical areas
- Conducts scheduled backup testing and restoration
- Conducts quarterly system and security audit and compliance review.
- Conducts regular maintenance on all server equipment including updates on OS or HW firmware.
Desktop Support
- Install and configures software Operating systems and server services (AD, VPN’s, Printers, Backup tools, Anti-Virus etc.)
- Configures and installs new applications and programs (MS Office, Visio, Project etc.).
- Installs and configures hardware accessories (Backup drive, Printers, Scanner, Projector, UPS, AVR etc.).
- Ensures availability of pertinent applications to specific users, in accordance with company policy.
- Supervises on-call technician for computer maintenance
- Respond to ServiceDesk request tickets (SDP)
Hardware and Site Maintenance
- Conduct annual site maintenance of data room
- Undertakes maintenance cleaning of communication and office equipment, servers and Desktop/Laptop computers.
- Recommends replacement of defective existing hardware, when needed.
- Responsible in keeping the Data room safe and secured
- Ensure office equipment complies with IT security standard (Desktop, Laptop, Printer, Projector, Scanner).
- Keeping track of log books specific to task
Kualifikasi Minimum
- A graduate of a Computer related course
- At least 2 years’ experience in supporting hardware and software.
- Knowledge of the diesel power generation, its operations and processes is an advantage but not required
