Asset Management Specialist  

The Asset Management Specialist for Performance Optimization and Maximo plays a support role in planning, designing, and implementing the asset management plans and policies. This position is responsible for supporting the Asset Management (AM) Programs established by AP Gen.

This position will also provide direct support to the AP Gen Asset Management Manager and Chief Technology Officer in carrying out the purpose and scope of the AP Gen Asset Management policies & guidelines according to ISO 55001 and established technical standards by:

1. Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of the Asset Management Plans of the generation business units;

2. Reviewing and reporting on results of the O&M teams for each of the assets
based on metrics/KPIs aligned to industry best practices;

3. Collaborating with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) with regard to operational risk reviews of the plants;

4. Supporting implementation of AM Policy & Guidelines at the AP Gen Plant Level.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
• Master’s degree in Engineering, an advantage
• Engineering Board Passer
• Professional Engineer, an advantage
• At least 5 years’ experience in a process plant position preferably power generation or petrochemical/industrial gas production/refining
  (Experience requirement may be reduced for individuals with
  an advanced technical or business degree, or registration as a professional engineer)
• Experience in Preventive, predictive, and condition-base maintenance practices
• Performance enhancement and optimization of operating assets or processes
• Analyzing plant/facility financial performance requirements against operations, maintenance, and repair costs
• Reliability engineering, statistical analyses of failure modes, and root cause failure analysis is preferred but not required
• Exposure to plant information systems and performance monitoring software applications
• At least 2 years’ of Project experience
• Professional Individual Certification on ISO 55001 from internationally recognized asset management organizations such as Institute of Asset Management and Asset Management Council, preferred but not required
