Job Description
- Supervising employee performance, allocating driver assignments, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining all vehicles in top working order.
- Responsible for the day to day running of the removals operation.
- Managing a team of removal personnel, a number of vehicles and any subcontractors / agency labor.
- Monitor the transportation budget to ensure funds are properly utilized and implement organizational objectives as dictated by management.
Minimum Qualifications
- College Degree in fields like transportation and logistics management
- Experience within the removals/relocations or transport or shipping industry
- Highly organized and able to multi-task
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
