Stock Steward  

Stock Steward’s job is to handle a company's incoming and outgoing deliveries. They process orders and keep the warehouse organized, which includes everything from physically moving product around the warehouse space to properly maintaining all shipping and receiving records.

Stock Steward spends much of their time on their feet and need to be able to bend and lift. Because of the physical nature of their job, they should be in good shape and possess stamina. Hours can be long, especially in busy seasons. Their efforts are essential to proper storage within the warehouse and accurate order fulfillment to customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Tracks and logs all product inventory, ensuring there are no discrepancies or losses.
• Loads and unloads items from delivery trucks, move items to the appropriate storage area, prepare outgoing shipments, and check that orders are complete and not damaged.
• Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute to sales executives for processing.
• Accurately maintain company database including all stock and inventory items.
• Maintains and document equipment, security, and safety information.
• Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.

• Candidate must possess at least High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate in any field.
• Must be flexible, able to lift, reach and bend.
• Must be Computer literate
• Must be hardworking, honest and people oriented
• Must be willing to work during Sundays/holidays and renders overtime if required
• Can work fast, can multi-task and fast learner
• Possess high energy and strong work ethic
• Good in verbal and written communication skills
