Freelance Content Writer | Wedding Industry  

• Crafting engaging and SEO driven blog post for our site and guest post purposes
• Write product descriptions that tickles reader's imagination
• Design blog post hero images - mostly a text overlay on an image. Either through photoshop or any popular image editing software.
• Source out high-quality images to use in the blog post and give proper attribution to the owner
• Post draft blog post to Shopify blog dashboard
• Coordinate with our outreach specialist for content needed for guest posts.

This is a remote / work from home job, on a freelance basis. Expect a workload of 2-3 articles / week to start + a couple of product descriptions to write regularly. We’re looking for someone who can stick long-term and possibly transition to full-time after a couple of months depending on performance.

• At least 1-year experience writing for online media publications. Preferably wedding or lifestyle publications.
• Strong researching skills.
• Ability to craft stunning content (and strong headline) that is geared towards virality and shareability.
• Knows how to source images and do proper attribution. Most of the blog posts to be written needs to be aesthetically beautiful.
• SEO knowledge. You should know how to fit in keywords to the content but not hurting readability.
• Photoshop skill is a plus. Should at least have a basic experience designing banner / hero images in popular tools like Canva.
• Strong copywriting skills. Some projects would involve writing product descriptions.
• Familiarity with any popular website platforms.
• Flexible and willing to operate in tight deadlines.
• A self-starter with strong self-management skill.
