Job Description
- Responsible for medium-term planning, objective setting, and development of new procedures within area of responsibility, through interpretative judgment of overall policies and goals.
- Responsible for communication of strategy, initiatives, local plans and performance metrics across own area of responsibility
Minimum Qualifications
- US Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Utilization Management, preferably Health Utilization Management or Work Compensation
- Knowledge of medical terminologies, anatomy, physiology and concepts of disease
- Knowledge in ICD-9 or ICD-10 and CPT coding
- Knowledge in federal, state, URAC, and client protocols
